In one of my previous animations, I demonstrated how the 𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗿𝗲𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺 can outperform the 𝗽𝗲𝗿𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗿𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗹𝗴𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗵𝗺 by leveraging the logistic (sigmoid) function to calculate maximum likelihood.
